New tier of cards
There could be a way to merge 2 legendary cards in your deck to make a new stronger card, maybe you could only have 1 per deck and would have the option after a boss fight? I think a good name for these could be "Unique" cards.

a new teir - Epic would be just fine... you would have to upgrade your legendaries to epics just like other improvments work.
Unique cards, while i like the idea, seem like something youd start with and work your whole deck around.
Name tag - 3 gemstones starting trinket - Start with 1 of your classes 3 unique cards in your deck, chosen at random.

Falcon Punch Style - 3 mana influence -- for each card you play, gain either 1 mana, 1 armor, 1 stamina, or draw a card, chosen at random. Focus with +1 mana.
Falcon punch - 3 mana attack - all the attacks in your hand become 0 mana until the end of the round, but can only target a marked creature. Deal 10 damage to target creature and mark it.
Falcon punch defense - 3 mana skill - move all monsters that are attacking other heros to your zones attacking you. Gain 2 block per monster moved this way.
