Monster should speed on by default

I play too many multiplayer games that are sooo slow because the other players dont have the move/turn/monster speed option enabled. I think it should be an On by default with option to turn it off.

or maybe have some speed up and normal speed buttons on ui then in multiplayer if at least 2 players hit the speed up button, it speeds up the monster turn.

Quite often there is someone on the team without Fast speed setting and that sucks.

What sucks even more is that I've got the feeling that the majority of those people don't even know of its existence and there is no way to tell them.

Not turning it on by default is okay and it wouldn't affect the existing player base anyway, but I think it would have been nice to somehow notify the players of setting status and a way to communicate the preferences. Even a simple solution like an exclamation mark icon with a tooltip explaining that to users without fast speed would do.
