More "Unplayable" Card Prevention
For example, targeting a boss using "Kill any non-boss enemy instantly," should not use mana and discard the card. The player should receive some feedback and prevent their error.
My buddy isn't super cognizant of the board 100% of the time, so it's a feels bad moment when it happens.

NameThis seems sensible but if this is not implemented then other cards should be playable without proper targets as well. You cannot play most cards if there is no viable target but for some cards it is possible. This could be made more consistent with this suggestion - or the opposite but that might/will frustrate causual players and new players.

Joseph David ParkerAre you sure you would like to cast this spell? ((it will have no effect))
this wording would let you cast things that effect nothing on the board, but could trigger things like artifacts. -

DrewcifurWhile I agree with you, I don't want them wasting time on this. I'd much rather have their time spent on other stuff.

redria7Maybe something like an exclamation mark over your cursor when your current action would do nothing. Because sometimes we need to play a card for round robin, or to empty our hand, or whatever reason, but a small warning if the current card has no effect would be pretty convenient.
